Ways to give

Your gift lands as a hot meal on a Tuesday

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Eighty-six cents of every dollar reaches a programme, and every gift is acknowledged in writing for your tax records.

Ways to give

Pick an amount and see exactly what it does

Every gift stays in Hampton Roads. Senior Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.

$50 pays for ten door-to-door rides to a medical appointment.

Choose a way

Four routes, one destination

However you give, the money stays in the eight cities and counties we serve.

  • Give today

A one-off or monthly gift by card. $50 keeps a homebound neighbour fed for a week.

  • Honorariums and memorials

Give in honour or in memory of someone. We send a card to the family naming you, never the amount.

  • Stock, DAF and IRA gifts

Appreciated securities, donor-advised fund grants and qualified charitable distributions from an IRA.

  • Planned giving

A bequest in your will, a beneficiary designation or a charitable gift annuity.

Where your money goes

Audited statements, IRS Form 990 and the full-year impact figures are published rather than supplied on request.

Rather give time?

Most volunteer routes take ninety minutes a week and cover about a dozen homes.

A gift here does not buy a brochure. It buys the diesel that gets someone to dialysis on Thursday.
