Help at home

In-Home Services

Most people do not need a nursing home. They need three hours of the right help on the right days.

What you get

Inside In-Home Services

  • Personal care

Trained aides assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and medication reminders.

  • Homemaker program

Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation and the errands that pile up.

  • Senior companion program

A trained volunteer, often a peer, visits regularly for conversation and company.

  • Options counseling

An unbiased conversation about every option available to you, including ones we do not provide.

  • No Wrong Door

However you reach us, we connect you to the right service, even when that service belongs to another agency.

Who it is for

Adults 60 and over who need assistance with daily activities, and adults with disabilities who qualify under specific programs.

What it costs

Some services are grant-funded on a suggested-contribution basis; others are private pay or covered by Medicaid waiver. We will tell you which is which before anything starts.

Start today

One call reaches every program. Family members can call on someone’s behalf with their permission.

How it works

What happens after you call

  1. Start with a conversation

Call and describe an ordinary day. That tells us more than a form does.

  2. In-home assessment

A care manager visits, looks at the whole picture and explains what you qualify for.

  3. A written plan

You get a plan in plain language: who comes, when, what they do and what it costs.

  4. Ongoing review

Needs change. We check in and adjust rather than waiting for a crisis.

Good to know

Questions people ask

We work hard for consistency, because trust matters more than efficiency here. Where schedules force a change, we tell you in advance.
