Do you hire people without experience in aging services?

Frequently. Driving, kitchen and aide roles are trained from the ground up. What we cannot train is patience with somebody who needs an extra ten minutes at the door.

Are these roles unionised or state jobs?

No. Senior Services is a private non-profit organisation. We are not part of city or state government, though much of our funding comes through public programmes.

Is there a background check?

Yes, for every role. Positions that enter homes or facilities also require a driving record check and references. We pay all associated costs.
